So time for me to get extended warranty for my 2015 RRS.. Anybody got one recently..
Looks like I'm going to spend more time looking for a warranty compared to the time I spent purchasing the car itself.. Thatz because, dealers either don't care or just give some ridiculous numbers.. Any references ?

Last week I bought the LandRover VPP 48/75,000 for $4,939 for my 2016 and have 39k miles on it. The cheapest I could find in the Dallas area.
I have a 2015 with 20k miles. Just got quoted 4 years additional 40k miles for $3,500 through CNA at Norwood Jaguar/Range Rover.
What was the deductible ?
And did you buy your from the same dealer??

$100 deductible. No bought RR from a different independent dealership. PM me if you want the sales guy's contact info.
Please.. Just sent you a PM..
Here is some Geico information. Looks like basically needs to be a car within 15 months/15k miles.
I purchased my Extended Warranty for my 2014 HSE v6 with 48,686 miles through Land Rover Vehicle Protection Plan for $2,557 on 3/24/2017 for 48 months 100000 miles with a $250 deductible
John,

That sounds like a good deal. What dealership offered you this? I've been hearing all different things from Authorized LR Dealers!

Thank you!
Anyone has update for the LR Vehicle Protection Plan this year (2022)? I have been calling several LR dealers around (Houston) and found none. Thanks
The new CPO warranty sucks. A few years ago they would give you 7/100k. Even then sometimes it was a hit or miss.

Also be wary of any auto nation extended warranty it is not good at all.
I just picked up a 2018 RR Sport Dynamic and bought an extended warranty from the deal for an additional 4 years. It's called the Mechanic and according to him is the only one RR would accept.
My CPO warranty runs out in November. I'm debating on whether to extend it. My 17' RRS V8 only has 35K miles on it but did just have to replace one of the front CV joints which I'm sure was at least $2k. My dealer offered 2 options through Land Rover themselves: 24 months/24K miles for $5,928 or 36 months/36K miles for $6,701. The other option was a third party warranty through Axiom 72 months/75K miles for $9,137.

I plan on keeping the vehicle maybe another 2 years but maybe not. If I opt to extend I'd probably stick with the Land Rover issues warranty. I'm assuming that they would negotiate some on the price. I've had a ton of Lexus vehicles that never had problems so never even thought about a warranty. Needing a new CV joint at less than 36K miles seems kind of strange. This is what's making me seriously consider extending the warranty.
I bought a 2017 RRS V6 SC HSE in May/2021 with 41k miles. It was a late year sale when new (10/17) and still had 5 months/9k miles of factory warranty. It was CPO’d for 2 additional years or 100k miles. I can’t see owning it out of warranty which means I can enjoy it for another 13 months/44k miles before I need to trade it out. I bought it from Land Rover Annapolis with the warranty for less than $50k. I didn’t think that was a bad deal especially in the middle of the automobile scarcity that was well under way by then.
I would suggest calling the dealer where you plan to be serviced to see what aftermarket warranty companies they work best with, then just go direct to them for a quote. I know sometimes the cost of the warranty dictates how much of a deductible you have, but would really try to get as low of a deductible as possible, even if it means a few hundred extra upfront--IMO 0-100$ would be ideal.

Just purchase and 2015 RRS Supercharged with 107k miles. I bought a warranty through the dealer for $2,835. It’s called RoadVantage. They have three levels, I bought the Preferred Elite. It’s for 24,000 miles or 3 years whichever comes first. It paid for itself when I had the coolant pipes replaced and the control arm bushings. I just had a MAF check engine come on after off-roading last weekend. I figure in 24k miles I will get this high mileage truck sorted out as best I can and get most of it covered. They covered the coolant pipe and control arm bushings except for $500 bucks. It’s kind of like getting medical coverage the doctor charges 100 bucks the insurance pays 75. The deductible is kind of BS. But it was worth it for me.
have an extended warranty I bought for my 2016 Diesel at 48,000mi. Was pricey then but has paid for a couple of repairs no questions. It is with United. Bought 4 years and 50k miles. Miles almost up, so I stopped by the dealer to see about a one year 15k mile extension. A wow quote of $6600+ for the one year. Nuts.

the dealer is RR or some third part car dealer?
Land Rover Dealer, they also carry Porsche, Jag, MB and others
I'm still debating if it's worth spending $2,300 per year for a 3yr warranty. It's not my daily driver and I've put about 10K miles on it since I got it about 16 months ago. Currently has just under 37K miles.
I got mine during my purchase. I have a 2018 with 35k; in service date of 2/2019 (still under factory)

I got the extended which added 7 years + 100k miles (coverage until 135k total) with Veritas. “Platinum Coverage” which is basically bumper to bumper. $100 deductible.

$4285

Did you purchase that from a LR dealer? If so, can you provide name, and person you dealt with?
