Extended Warranty - Any luck ??

Same boat,one dealer, my Sales guy was going to check and never return my text msgs

Dealer other location, that services my car, told me like 5k to 7k via text msg no info on miles or years

Got a quote for $5800 for my 2016 with 49k to extend to 100k (can't remember the # of years, I think 4). This was with a $100 deductible and paid in full upfront. The coverage was comprehensive but I am not going to buy it. This was from Autonation sponsored warranty company.

I was told 5100 for 84 months, 100K. Apparently sold by LR but from Assurant. This was for a 2015 RRS with 44K miles. The finance guy wanted to call me back tomorrow as they are loading new product into system. I will update tomorrow..

Some guy in VA wants me to bring the car to dealership before giving a quote.. SMH..

check with your car insurance company, guys. someone here got a great deal from I think Geico a couple of years ago.

Folks remember, LRNA ONLY covers the factory warranty, NOTHING else. All extended warranties, even CPO are third party Donot go to your dealer for an extended warranty. They will gouge you on warranty that costs them very little.

Yeah you know i was surprised that when i just bought two new vehicles within the last 3 months i was not even offered an extended warr. usually i am pounded with that option but neither of the two dealers ( both same owner diff. local) mentioned it to me when signing papers. I was going to begin to look into it but i think after all the headaches of researching and buying these my brain needs a break.

Love to know of any opinions or experiences with any of the companies that offer them.

About to start that process. Where are best places to go for extended warrenty? Any specific names that have used/trust for reasonable deals.

I did a lot of research, but they all seem to have warts. None stood out over the rest. Very few even cover LR. After all of the negative comments I decided to risk not needing $6k in work done over the time I would keep the vehicle. It is a roll of the dice.

Same here... nothing reasonable below 4.5K. Im thinking, I will just put that in market and gamble...

John, who actually manages that warranty? That is actually a really good price point.

I have 21,000 miles on a 2016 and have already had to change 2 suspension air compressors.
Not sure what else....

Check with State Farm and they do no offer anything.

Can you give us reference.. This is great price..

what does it cover. I got one from Autocare on platinum same price.

i bought the Land Rover Vehicle Protection Plan from the dealer I purchased it from in in Connecticut March 2017 for $2,557.50. The deductible is $100.00 if service is performed by Land Rover or $250.00 by any other repair facility.
The plan terms is for 48 months 100.000 miles.

Which dealer in CT ?

Thanks John... Got a quote for 4K+tax for 4 year 100K. Continental warranty. Still expensive..
