I changed brake pads on my wife's 2015 Evoque. The front pads were a breeze. However, I could not install the rear pads. I got the rear brakes to open up (through ignition>pb switch. accelerator>ignition 2x), but I don't think I was properly in maintenance mode. The old pads came out, but the piston wouldn't depress, or open far enough to install new pads. What am I missing? What is the proper procedure to enter maintenance mode? Is it possible that I only released the parking break, but didn't actually enter maintenance mode? Any help or suggestions appreciated.
