So I've done some searching on here re the Restricted Performance mode and it's got my head spinning tbh..

Question is, this seems to be a pain with various things that can cause it from cracked manifolds to sensors and polarity issues. As the car is a day old (for us) should I just take it back, get a refund and continue the search or is it worth sticking with and having them try to fix it.. The problem being, they don't specialise in LR although they sell many.

Other than that, the car is mint to be honest.

Just after some honest opinions and a bit of experienced hindsight..

I live about 10miles away from the JLR plant and I have a few friends that work on the RR lines, so I can ask them also, but you guys will have firsthand experience..

Cheers, all, keep well, keep safe.

“Bad” gas had this happen to me once (went with 87 octane). Another and the last one was cooling for the intercoolers - this was fixed via warranty so I didn’t get a chance to have a closer look.

I agree with the post above - get them to fix it - and have a closer look at the repairs to get a more in-depth look at the condition of the car.
