Ok friends My first post here..

I have an 2008 Ranger Rover Sports HSE.. MY EPB is stuck I followed instruction on youtube to find the manual release cable I cant not see it Its Not there.. How do I release it now..

Look harder - it is there. It is a long way down in the center console.

Could there be a chance it may have snapped.. I swear I don't see it I will try to post pictures

I think it unlikely - I personally have never heard of it breaking but I guess there is always a chance.

I checked it one more time I did not see it where is it that I am looking exactly is there some sort of a clue i checked it with a flash light i have no idea..

The loop of the cable can sometimes be hidden and tucked underneath some of the other parts there. If you have removed the console so you can reach into that space, try to feel around for a very thin cable...that's the loop you'll need to then put the metal bar of the jack thru and yank up hard. You won't be able to do it with your hand or you'll cut your fingers.

Duh.. silly me I was looking under the center console didn't see it there so I pulled out the center piece of a cap that is in between the cup holder and I saw it there.. like u mentioned its hidden awesome guys thank u soo much

Hopefully, that released the brake. Didn't on my 08: had to be towed (ironically, the day it ran out of warranty, fortunately, I had an excellent extended that the first owner had bought and it kicked in). Do a search for EPB issues on this forum or one of the Land Rover LR3 forums. There is some vital lubrication and cleaning that will keep this from happening again.

So now that I have release it now I know that as I place it in N and the car rolls.. before it did not.. So now I have the Parking Light flashing all time now How do I rectify that light.. I want to figure that out before I go and place an order for a new EPB Actuator.. Thank you
