Is this normal that engine broke and need to be replaced after only 90k km?
I drove yestarday a RRS L494 2014 - about 120km/h and suddenly car jerked, on gearbox D starts fashing. I could add gas but car didn't go.
I stoped on the side of the road, but I could not turn on a car.

Mechanic today check and he cant even rotare a engine with wrench, and it looks like there was a litle oil leak.
In oil filter there aren't metal filings.

Anyone has the same problem or heard about some models?

Yeah, if the engine has seized, then it's very likely that there was little or no oil in there.

Is this a diesel or petrol RRS?

Diesel 3.0 258KM. I change oil when it was 87k and now is 93k. I also check level of oil and it was ok.

Maybe it's the crankshaft, lots of snapped cranks on the 3.0 SDV6 engine.
