Land rover mechanic--who makes house calls--and is driveabuilty trained specialist-found spark plug wire #7 driver rear oil soaked due to valve cover leak---new gaskets and wire on order. Second more interesting problem was plug on pass side had no GAP! and no signs of recent contact---The codes showed misfire #4 and emissions code for unburnt fuel---catalytic was ok.

So any ideas on how plug gap was closed?
