1998 SE, 108k mi.; Houston, TX. Recently the following has occurred to force me to "put the car up."
After drivng the truck on the highway @ 25 min. (to or from work; 65mph) I will slow down to exit hwy and then eventually make a stop. As I slow down the oil light begins to "flutter" and then at full stop at trafffic light is stays lit. Upon accelaration the light goes off. Subsequently, each time I slow down it begins to flutter again, then is fully lit at stop light. Is my oil pump failing / gone? FYI, oil change done @ 1,500 miles ago.
