So I'm coming up on an oil change and was thinking of doing the seafoam oil cleaner then adding some European Lucas oil treatment to the new oil upon refil.

I'm thinking this will clean out the gunk with old oil and the Lucas + new oil should keep everything clean and smooth.

Yea or nay?

IMHO you will clean out some if the gunk, but leave some inside, nicely loosened up, which will come off later and possibly block an oil way, don't like oil additives either, just change the oil for a good brand fully synthetic put a genuine filter in and leave it at that.....

That's good advice. Thank you for sharing - I'll stick with change only.
