electrically dead rover-need to get into neutral ??

electrically dead right now, can't move the transmission into nuetral in order to move, what's the best way to get it into a rolling situation???

Any help would be appreciated????

Remove wood grain shifter cover by prying. remove e clip, remove nut, remove shifter handle, remove selector off shaft, pry inset panel from consol ( plastic piece with iluminated P R N D 3 2 1 ) , there is a pin activated by a solenoid which can be pryed out so shifter can be moved .

I plan to remove this solenoid, next time I'm in there. Call it "preventative maintenance", or my private "Tea Party Moment". (I've removed a lot of such silliness, by and by.)
