When I adjust my seat in my 05 (w. delux seats) intermittantly the fuse blows. Replaced a few times seat works for a while and then fuse blows again. It seems to not matter what button I used. When it works everything works. Had it at dealer. They played with it for several hours and charged me a bunch of cake then I drive home later fuse blows again. They did admit they were not sure if they fixed it. They played with the harness. Extended coverge refused to pay for that. I wonder if I should trouble shoot myself (have been good at it in the past) as the dealer is pretty far away.
Anyone had this? A known problem? Is the seat computer known to have issues?

Yes, I've got this problem on my '05 TD6 vogue. Fuse to drivers seat blows pretty soon after turning the ignition on. Took it to the dealer who had a look but couldn't find a fault. Said what they usually do is remove the seat and strip it down and check all the wiring till they find a short. Not sure I'm prepared to pay their hourly rate for that!! Since it is generally only me driving the RR I'm living without the seat controls. Might seek out an independent LR specialist and pay their rates. Not sure I've got time to do the job myself. Would be useful if somebody had a fix for this.
Anybody?

My upper back adjustment is getting a bit intermittent at the moment. This leads me to think tha tthe switches are not of the highest quality.... If there is a short in the switch somewhere then I imagine that could blow the fuse. As the switch panel is easier to remove and investigate than the whole seat I would possibly start there. Maybe also worth a poke is the "Seat Relay" (3)

My seat started doing this a year ago, fuse blows basically as soon as you put a new fuse in. My research points towards a relay behind the glove box fuses, the dash must be removed to get the access though. I haven't attempted the repair.

You may be able to get to the relay by feeling your way, you have to be a bit of a contortionist will be different if you are wrong hand drive etc. But I did the blower relay without having to take anything apart, I did think I was going to lose my arm at one point though!
