Before I get into telling about what problems I am confronted with, can anyone here tell from experience whether or not the RWS solutions EAS Unlock V4 is worthwhile having and using in addition to the Nanocom, which I already have.

The subject vehicle is a 1996 RR P38 DSE

I have no experience with it myself but used the free EASUnlock V2 very successfully. One owner I know bought V4 as it appeared to be able to do much the same as a Nanocom Evolution but at less than half the price. Unfortunately it doesn't so if you already have a Nanocom you won't get anything you don't already have.

Get free version EAS-unlock v3 instead. Main difference is for EAS you can configure heights in one screen, whereas on Nanocom it involves switching through different screens. I posted a while back on Nano forums about re-organising some of the screens but it never got anywhere. These day I use Nano most of the time, and rarely load up EAS-unlock, although I will use this in the summer for calibrating my other project P38.
