Hi all,
so since i went back to Greece and took my rangie out of hibernation its been leaning to the left manly the rear left corner and the car felt a bit too harsh on bumps When I plugged my obd scanner the error I was that the valve for the rear left valve was sticking shut and also was hearing some nasty clicks coming from the valve block that lead me to believe that my valve block was on the way out to make sure i swapped the tubes for the rear air springs to see if the car will start leaning on the other side to eliminate the possibility of having a leak in the air spring and sure enough the car started to lean on right rear corner anyway I ordered a rebuilt valve block and changed out the valve on my old valve block as a temporary fix after that the car had some strange behaviour the rear left corner would level out and then drop again and would keep doing that when the car was on neutral or park anyway today I installed the rebuilt valve block which seemed to work perfectly the car got buttery smooth again no funky clicks, leaks or anything but the car again is constantly leaning on the rear left corner doesn't even try to correct itself as it did when I swapped the valve on the old block
any ideas ?

I’d go for the height sensor, if as you say you’ve tried different options, next is to go for the sensor side of things, they do wear out eventually, I would think that 75% plus of p38s still have the original ride height sensors.
recheck all connections again as a precaution.
one last thing, when you say you swapped valve blocks, was that the driver pack aswell ?

Its hard to read what you have done. Sounds like you confirmed air springs aren't leaking. Did you swap solenoids to see if the problem moved with the soleniod? Thats a good way to make sure it isn't the driver block and in fact a valve is or isn't sticking.

Well I changed out a couple of ride height sensors I reckon it was last year i don't remember which though but they where genuine brand new land rover parts aside of that the driver pack is still the same would you reckon it could be the problem ? I have another valve block for spares which has the driver pack on as well. also, today I got an eas fault which went away on its own after restarting the car and I was driving around the whole day never came back everything seemed normal still the car is leaning of course. what confuses me though is when I swapped the sticking valve on my old block the car was trying to level out but when it did it would just drop down again now after installing the new valve block its just permanently leaning which was my initial problem.

By the way here's a picture of mine compared to another P38 I think its quite obvious that the car is not sitting right

ps, today I cleaned out all the connections sprayed everything and pretty much nothing changed also I plugged in my code reader again I got an incorrect signal from the front left but it actually rides correctly on that corner

If you've changed height sensors but not recalibrated the system, that will cause a problem. You need to make up a set of blocks and use something like a Nanocom, Hawkeye or Lynx or the free RSW EASUnlock V2 software to write the correct heights for the new sensors. It was calibrated when I changed the sensors last year I guess I'll go to my land rover expert to borrow he's obd tools see if I can get it calibrated if not I have a spare driver pack as well see if I that makes a difference and finally if doesn't help i'll order new sensors and calibrate it once more also since I changed out the valve block am noticing that sometimes the car rides very smoothly and some other times very harshly would suggest that is caused by the unbalanced ride height or do I have another problem as well ?
