116000 miles on the clock and my eas fault light has appeared with do not exceed 35mph But what puzzles me is the vehicle is stood as proud as punch in std height and has been for the last 5hrs.rac has been out and is as confused as me as he expected it to be on its ass .any ideas lads.cheers Paul

that sounds like a communication error. The EAS computer sends an "all clear" signal to the BECM, which runs the height switch lights and dash. if the BECM loses the "all clear" in any way: acutal fault, blown fuse, broken connections etc.. it will put up the "slow: 35mph max" message. depending on the issue the EAS may continue to function as normal OR if it's lost power, it will not drop to the bumpstops automatically, but it may go down if you have leaks.

Thanks for the reply Shupack.all ecus have power and the vehicle is now sat on its ass looking very sad. So its on its way to a local independant as i am on holiday and cant resolve anything without my tools etc.fingers crossed it wont cost to much.

just a quick heads up just got my range back new pump and air dryer fitted. So all those who have pumps running almost continually do the over haul now rather than later and yot will save your self a load of money and grief. 485 pounds worth to be exact.
