Is the compressor supposed to stop running when leveling is in progress?

My compressor stops (cold or hot) when the system decides to level. Then the valves operate until the computer decides the level is correct and the compressor restarts.

I have a pressure gauge fitted and the compressor pumps fast enough to watch the needle move up to 130 psi and then stops like it is supposed to. That would seem to indicate that the compressor isn't a problem.

Yes, if it's lowering. if raising it will stay on.

If the front or rear is dancing(going up and down when it leveled) then you may have a problem with a bad height senser. At least that was my problem, replaced it myself in accordance with the problems and fixes on the main page and no more problems. :thumb:
