I want to replace some of the air lines on my car. Went shopping, and was dazzled by the number of materials available for air lines (pneumatic tubing). It seems the most common are (by simple names only):
Polyethylene
Vinyl
Polyurethane
Dennis sells Vinyl on Rover-Renovations, so I thought it would be a safe bet. However, when I looked at the pressure rating, they are only rated for 0-150psi/0-990kPa. This seems a bit low considering the operating pressure of the EAS system.
Can anybody shed some light on the matter? What is the correct type of air line to buy for repair?
