OK before I get jumped on have been through the search found lots of good things but am looking for a simple answer I hope.
as some will know have just had to install a fresh engine well the same weekend that the engine was installed was away with the caravan on the back a 26ft van so takes a bit of pulling no overheating then. two weeks ago started to over heat have been down the road of changed water pump thermostat fitted new fan old one not working when hot could stop it with fingers. so am thinking head but on doing a sniff test no trace of exhaust fumes in water so if there is no fumes could it still be the head?
