I've search both google and the site and not found an answer.

Just got a new set of winter blades for the RR, and a new 'wing' for driver's side side was included.

Any tips on how to get the old one off?

There are two protruding plastic pins on the piece. I'm able to free up the top pin, but unable to free up the pin adjacent to the wiper arm.

Thanks in advance.

OK, I was able to get the old 'wing' off and the new 'wing' on. It took a couple of screwdrivers to pry the metal apart and push the plastic in.

Can anyone confirm this is the correct way to mount the winter blades. I tried reversing the blades, and they won't fit at all reversed.

If these are correct, this has to be one of the most bizarre winter-blade set ups I've ever seen. I've owned BMWs for nearly 40 years, and have seen a LOT of over-engineered or poorly thought out pieces/systems on BMWs, but the 'only-Range-Rover' wiper set up has to take the cake on both over engineering and putting the owner through a real PITA with something as simple as wiper blades.
