99' range rover p38 with following problem: Door locking OK by one touch on remote, but unlocking needs 3-10 times pushing on unlock button for car opens and disarming.
Somethimes it's only possible to open and disarm the car by the EKA procedure.

Someone any idea ?

Thanks in advange,

How old are the batteries in the remote? I would try to change them first - remember to have the extra key beside you - OUTSIDE the car just in case it takes too long to change them.... I have just changed my batteries in both remotes - hey they actually do reach quite a bit....

Apart from batteries the only other problem could be the actual unlock button is on it's way out or there is a hairline fracture on the pcb.

This is a good one for the Mods and even site admin!
I used this company on my old vehicle and have nothing but praise for them - I have never heard of any bad feedback.

Considering the amount of key questions on the forums if they now do P38 keys maybe its worth a note somewhere on the stickies and maybe even a page on the main site?
