Hi to All, Here it is then my latest tool, door trim removal tool, yes I know that there are tools on the market but they all seem to be a flat bar with a “V” shape and yes they work but not on the hinge side of the door, with this tool you slide it behind the panel move it up or down until the long finger touches the pin push in to locate the pin then prise the pin out ( the felt strip on the back edge of the tool saves damage to the paint work) if you have damaged the panel on previous removal i.e. pulled the fixing stud out of the panel re-fix using two part Mitre Mate this is an adhesive and accelerator. The tool is made from 1mm steel plate 10” by 1.3/8” the slot is 1.¼” by
5/16” make sure that you make the right angle bend before you crease the handle.

that's pretty sweet. i have the store bought one. it works well. your concept improves upon that design from a convenience standpoint. you need to sex it up though with some paint and a tacky rubber grip.
