Odd one. They are totally independent of each other. Left rear is fed from C361 on the BeCM via C354/C704L and the right rear comes from C325 on the BeCM via C304/C704R. Does the door ajar switch work on either of them, does opening the door guve a warning on the Message Centre and bring the interior lights on? Did both stop working at the same time or one at a time?

You can check for power to the RH rear latch at the BeCM. Hang a 12V bulb between pins 8 (Orange wire) and pin 18 (Pink wire) on C325, the 18 way grey connector at the front of the BeCM. Try locking the car and the bulb should flash on as the BeCM sends power to the latch to lock or unlock it. It will only be a brief pulse which is why I say use a bulb and not a meter as a meter may not react fast enough. The LH latch is powered from C361 which is on the side of the BeCM against the transmission tunnel so much harder to get to. If there's no pulse from the BeCM then it sounds like an internal fault on the BeCM power board. Power board can be swapped from another BeCM without the need for any reprogramming as all the car specific stuff is on the logic board underneath it.

As for the HEVAC display, someone else had the same problem and found it was in the HEVAC itself. They managed to solder a jumper wire between two points on the back of the board and get the illumination working again. If you can get search to work properly you may be able to find the post.
