I assume that I have a door latch on it's way out because my locks are locking and unlocking on their own. Sometimes all the locks lock and unlock, but more often it seems to be all locks except the drivers door. If I lock and unlock the drivers door from inside, sometimes it unlocks the other doors and sometimes it doesn't. If I lock and unlock the passenger door from inside, it seems to operate all but the drivers door. Using key to unlock the truck seems to work on all locks, but sometimes locking with key all doors will lock except the drivers door.

Does this all point to the drivers door latch being the bad one? Will a diagnostic test show the door latch that is causing this problem or do I have to take my chances and change the driver latch and hope that one was the culprit?

Hey check out my latest post in my "Passenger Door Lock issues" thread... I have similar symptoms. Can u let me know if 3 of your 4 doors unlock? Btw, have any of your latches been replaced?

Yeah most of the time it seems like only three locks are locking and unlocking...most of the time on their own. the driver lock is the one that sometimes does not lock or unlock. if all locks are locked and i use the key to unlock they will all unlock.
