Hello All... For some reason I cannot enter returns on this post, so apologies for the long run-on paragraph. I recently needed to replace tires on my 2004 and have been spoiled by the Michelins for far too long, so I was looking for another set of Michelins or something or equal ride, safety, & performance. While searching, I once again started to think about putting the OEM RR 72225 wheel on the truck. $(KGrHqNHJC8E-m8BedrvBPq9imzlrg~~60_35.JPG The 72225 is my favorite wheel for this vehicle just in front of the Westminster wheel I currently use. IMG_8111.JPG Then I began to notice 2013 owners selling off LOTS of 20" 2013 Full Size wheels with the Goodyear Eagle F1 SUV 4x4 Radial Tires in 255/55/20. I will admit... at first glance I thought, of course they are getting rid of those wheels... they're ugly as hell. BUT... after doing this upgrade on two L322s (my 2004 & a friend's 2005), I highly recommend looking for a set of 2013 20" wheels & tires! 1. The wheel looks MUCH better in person. 2. The Goodyear Eagle F1 SUV 4x4 Radial is so far an AMAZING tire on this vehicle. 3. The truck feels MUCH more "planted"... could be because despite the same tire width, it is now stretched over 8.5" rims instead of 8"? OR it might be because... 4. The offset is perfectly set for the L322 and gives it just a bit wider footprint. 5. The vehicle looks beefier & wider despite sitting just a hair higher (255/55 instead of 255/50). All in all, I am THRILLED with the results and thought I would share. Oh yeah... the best part... Some owners are DUMPING these... I picked up two sets for $1500 each set (one local & one unfortunately required shipping), but I've seen them go as low as $1000 for a set with less than 2000 miles (eBay). Considering the retail on this tire is $395 each plus mounting, balancing, etc., that's not a bad deal IMO. Both of my sets were sourced on eBay & negotiated outside eBay, but there are plenty on Craigslist as well. You will need a 2006+ set of Mag Lug Nuts if you are mounting these to a M62 L322. Hope this helps someone... I think you'll be VERY pleased! :) IMG_8131.JPG IMG_8130.JPG IMG_8129.JPG IMG_8127.JPG IMG_8136.JPG IMG_8137.JPG My friend's Blue 2005 RR HSE... IMG_8071.JPG
