Gents,

Everywhere on the net I read that Britpart is not a good quality brand.

But is Britpart a brand what manufactures Land Rover parts, or is it a supplier, who sources parts from other manufacturers?

I ordered OEM height sensors for my P38, and they came in today.... in a Britpart box...
Looks like the sensors are made by Dunlop.

Thanks

Britpart are a parts reseller who source from wherever they can find. Some parts, such as Dunlop airsprings and height sensors, are only available from the original manufacturer so they buy in quantity to get the best price. Other parts may be the same but there are some that are pattern parts made elsewhere by non-OEM aftermarket suppliers. Trim parts for example are almost certainly no longer available from the original supplier, so they will be aftermarket copies. It's a bit of a lottery, some parts will be cheaply made copies (water pumps that last 2,000 miles), others may be fine although may not be up to the quality or finish of the originals while others may be from the original manufacturer (remember car manufacturers don't make cars, they bolt together lots of bits made by other specialist manufacturers).
