As I stated in my previous response, you need to specify which model (year and engine) of Range Rover that you need the information for. Land Rover fitted five different transmissions to the L322.

This is the order in which the eight solenoids are mounted on the valve body assembly. There are three types of solenoid:– 1-off with a green cap, 4-off with a black cap and 3-off with a brown body. The ZF part number shown (beginning 0501) will be marked on each solenoid



There were many versions of valve body assembly used by ZF on the 5HP24/A (which was also used by Jaguar, BMW, Audi & VW) and the correct one for the L322 will have the number ‘350’ etched onto it



The solenoids on the 5HP24 transmission are very durable and only rarely give problems (in stark contrast to those used for the 6HP26 transmission, which superseded it)
