uhm... yes and no. the reset is an alignment electrics wise. If your glass panel really is misaligned it is much more involved. It means doing the reset you mention, which is in the owners manual. Then you need to raise the panel to vent mode, release the four alignment screws and lower back to closed position. From there you need to set the front two alignment screws to level with the roof and raise the rear of the glass panel to appx 1/8" above the roof. Cycle, reset and then double check.
This allows for a decent seal and for road wind to flow the water over the sunroof panel.
