Hi all! just wondered if someone could help?

I want to disable the traction control on my P38 4.6 (1998) whilst all the lovely snow is out :D

DOes anyone know how to do this? is it a case of removing a fuse/relay?

any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
Mike

Why would you want to do that?
THere are times on more difficult off road trails that abs hinders more than it helps. I have a kill switch on my dash for fuse 23 so I don't even have to get out of the car. By hte wy, it also kills the EAS so make sure you are at wading mode before pulling the fuse.

I've been thinking of a switch to open the fuse connection, but I'm concerned about generating faults that need resetting. Does the fault reset automatically when you replace the fuse?
Yes. Removel of power from a system isn't actually a error fault. The BeCM will simpli inform you that the system is down. An actual fault requires a system to be operational and a sensor to log something out of range.
