About a year ago I was able to disable the EKA on a 4.6 P38 using Testbook. The plip didn't operate the central locking and the car didn't run. The owner wanted to just be able to open the door with the key and start the engin and wasn't bothered that he could no longer open the car with the plip. He wanted simplicity and reliable start. I remember I was able to disable the EKA the car door opened on the key and whilst doing that the other doors unlocked and the car started OK. BUT I now have another P38 and can't remember how I achieved this last time. The BECM on this one keeps saying its a French car but making changes to UK doesnt work! for some reason the car will run fine for ten minutes and then die and won't restart on the key, after 20 minutes or so it it can be restarted? any ideas please

To disable the EKA simply put 0000 in the BeCM for the EKA code. However that has nothing to do with the immobilizer. I think what you disabled in the previous P38 was the immobilizer and alarm. You will also need to change your market to UK by the sounds of it. However, if you have a locked BeCM yo may not be able to make all of these changes.
