Dipstick keeps popping up and loosing oil from it As above title only notice when it went into limp mode

Sounds like you're dealing with some seriously excessive crank case pressure. Either your rings are blown and your dealing with a lot of blowby or your PCV system is plugged up. What's the year and which motor?

I think the easiest, least expancive and probably most common remedy would be PCV valve replacement and you should hurry up before blowing crank shaft gaskets because engine would have to come out to replace thouse. if it is a turbo charger then you likely have some kund of pump that pushes air from inside the engine in to intake. Have these checked first. Unfortunately you will not find great amount of support here as members are primarily frim North America, diesels did not make it to LR sold here till like 2012 or so.
