Hi All
I am thinking of replacing my 1996 Discovery 300tdi ES with a P38 DSE,now i am a RRC man and also have a 1993 Lse which is a super example which i enjoy driving,i display it at some RRR shows when i can,i am also in the process of sorting out a tidy 1988 3.5efi on LPG,and the disco is my day to day runabout,i have been toying with a P38 but get such mixed views, any info or advise on the above would be a great help.
Thanks Valveboyly

well.... depends on your temper I would say.... Diesel is not an option for me - I think life is too short -but that's just my opinion -

I would go for the full fat package - a V8 HSE og VOGUE edition..... the true P38 with that lovely V8 rumble..... a true gentleman's car ( Why do I then own one?!) anyway - consider it - I think you should try all 3 engine sizes (2.5 , 4.0 and 4.6)

have a nice weekend

I too have a 95 Discovery 300TDI and looking for a DT or DSE. Prices have gone through the roof since the snow, and looking around and speaking to owners, I am sticking with the 300TDi for now until greedy car traders are stuck with over priced P38s. Lots of £4000 to £6000 worn out junk available described as mint until you travel 100 miles to view and realise the car you arrived in is ten times better! There is a lot of rubbish for sale at the moment,so be careful.
