Delivery Times

What's everyone currently seeing between expected delivery date, and reality? I've got:

Build Date: 3/25/18
Delivery Date: 6/29/18
Handover: 7/4/18

I was hoping it would be at port by now, but because I've got no way to track the ship anymore I have no idea. ANXIOUSLY awaiting arrival here and hoping it's soon! BTW does it really take a week to go from "Delivery Date" to "Handover"? Is Delivery date at Port, or at Dealer?

I'm in SoCal.

You can track the ship I actually just tracked my car from port to port the whole way. I got to Baltimore June 6th

Really, how? I do have my VIN.

What was your delivery date vs June 6, and when did you personally take delivery?

Delivery date is the date the dealer should have it. They then go through PDI and install any dealer options you may have ordered. Some dealers verify there are no updates, some do not.

Handover is the expected date that you should get the keys. It may be sooner if PDI is finished quicker.
I'd like to know about the new tracking as well! When the shipping company pulled the plug on VIN tracking it left a lot of folks hanging.
Spent way too much time on this today. Did find that there’s a boat that arrived today from U.K. to Port Hueneme, operated by NYK who appears to be another big shipper for Land Rover especially to the west coast. Unless they get multiple Land Rover boats per week in (which sounds unlikely) I’m going to assume my new truck is on this boat.
My salesperson gave me the ship name with the link to track
Seriously Chi... Can you cough up some real info here? What is the new link? Is it still VIN based in a certain field? When two folks ask you for details, a vague one liner response doesn't answer anything. Give us a hand here please.
If dealer gave him the ship name, there are a lot of sites you can track the ship on. Marine Traffic is probably the best.
Doesn't answer if there is still ability to track by VIN to guarantee a particular rig is aboard.
Add me to the list of people who also would like to know
Lol... it’s really that simple my salesperson basically sent me a link to the ship which was called “theBen” no vin or anything just a link to marinetraffic.com and to track that specific vessel. I’ve been waiting for my SV Dynamic since March... been at the port since the 14th as of now...

That being said maybe ask your salesperson if mine has the info I’m sure all do. I will say I’ve been pressuring them because I was gonna purchase a bentagya and cancel my order because it’s been so long.
...and the link is what? Your sales person may be helpful, not all are. That's why when the WW tracking site allowed VIN tracking there was no dealer interaction needed. At this point members on this site need a starting point at the very least. Apparently you have an honest link nobody else has provided. The marine traffic site was mentioned above, but no details were given there either.

Common folks, if you have bits of info to help out your fellow members share them. No need to be secretive or guard your sources. Post up what can help others.
He’s not leaving anything out. The key is to get a ship name, from there you can track it on any number of sites that track any and all cargo vessels.
On the topic of tracking, does anyone know what "L700 - PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION" means on the Topix tracker on the Land Rover website? the delivery date I have is for 07/20 so I doubt this is a dealer delivery.figured Id ask here rather than make a new topic for a simple question.
