I’m in the market for a used Range Rover for a second DD to use on inclement weather days. I like the idea of the SV trim but I’m concerned that the compromise in ride quality is not worth the performance gain. Has anyone regretted going with the SV for this reason, and overall is it worth the extra money over an ATB? Thank you for any help with this decision.

make sure you get winter tyres the standard all seasons don't hold up well in any sort of ice/snow

simply too wide.

I rode in an SVA LWB today. In the back. I was surprised it didn’t feel as smooth as I was expecting. But comfort? Seriously, you’re not going to be disappointed with either. SV have the enviable benefit of being fully loaded and a level exclusivity that is to be cherished. In the US an ATB has kit standard other markets have to pay for. I’d be interested to know about the price difference. The ride difference would be of no concern to me.
