i disabled my auto start stop on my 2015 Range rover. following @tigertrash

i just ordered a new range rover sport. i was hoping i can do the same removal but based on the end of that thread this work around no longer works.

has anyone found any new solutions to remove this feature?

So they moved the off button to a touch screen. Move it to your home page so you don't have to find it next time the ignition is turned on.

So you have ONE option, get your new 494 "tuned" and in the mapping they can hard code a disable for the feature that you hate. Expensive fix for not wanting to push a button. I also don't know if VelocityAP is doing 2018s yet, let alone have a handle on the 19s.

The "tune" for a 2018 is available from VelocityAP with the auto Start/ Stop delete. The down side is the "tune" is via a loaner tool from VelocityAP. The 2019 should be very similar to the 2018 package. Enhanced performance is a plus!

so this tune needs to be plugged in at all times or is it a one time plug in and install then the piece is useless?
what do you mean by its on loan? i pay $1k to borrow the unit and send it back?

No. On > '18, to install/uninstall the tune you need the loaner unit. On <'17, you receive the unit to keep so you can install/uninstall the tune at any time.
