I love to drive with the roof in the vent position. I have been getting a pretty good amount of creaking from the sunroof. This occurs with body flex. Any ideas to minimize this? I have been thinking of using silicone spray for the gasket to see if this will help but I wanted to see if anyone in the community has any other suggestions.

Thanks.

What year is your Rangie? How long had you had the truck before you began noticing the creaking?

Sorry,

I thought it was in the signature. 2013. Has been doing it for nearly a year. It may be a little worse when it is really warm outside.

The pano sunroof is massive. When you have your sunroof closed does the creaking continue? I believe one company makes all of the pano sunroofs for Audi, BMW, Range Rover etc. The body flex you mention is related to torsional rigidity which I have never been able to find numbers for the L405. The L322 is 32,000Nm/degree, which is relatively high.
