I was pulling in to park and the wonderful Conti's did nothing. I barely even hit the snow bank, but alas the front bumper cracked. There is a large triangle that snapped out and I'm unsure of what route to go...does anybody know if the bumpers are plastic or fiberglass or what?

ugh....

the bumper is made of TPO, it is a rubberized polypropylene. how big is the crack and where is it? if it is on a lat surface it can be fixed. a good body shop should be able to do a good job, where are you located.

Its on the front bumper, 95% on just the flat front

Its cracked pretty bad...and a whole chunk is missing from the bumper (though I have the piece). I'm located in Omaha, NE.

While I was looking for LR3 rims earlier in the week I ran across a ad on Chicago Craigslist for a RRS bumper for $200. I believe it was even the front if my memory is correct. You may want to check there.

111mb, the HST bumper cover on his car is not the standard type RRS bumper unfortunately (look at the picture.) It is hard to find and probably extremely expensive - especially if not purchased as part of the HST conversion kit package.

take it into a reputable shop have them fix it....seen it done lots of time on high end kits at my buddys shop in town.....hes fixed cracked and chipped brabus kits on mercedes....best bet would be that and would cost a lot less then replacing the entire bumper and this way you can get the entire bumper sprayed if there are any road chips on it
