I just bought a 1995 RRC LWB and I would like to remove the cowl vent grill (covers the fresh air inlet) and the vents on the rear pillars. I see that the cowl vent has two screws. What else must be done to remove this vent? The rear vents have no screws and I also am not sure how they are removed. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For the cowl/decker, once unscrewed use a large flat screw driver to pop them out - they hold onto the decker with tabs. Apply pressure centerwards (vertically) and they'll come loose either top or bottom and then you'll figure it out. I found out they come out easier with hood opened which allows better access.

It's been a while since I did anything with the D-pillar vents, but I believe they are held with tabs as well. But I can remember that they are made from a lot stiffer plastic and may be brittle from age and so may break easily. Do be careful with those.
