Coolant light just came on. Checked overflow res and coolant is low.

Looking for recommendations on coolant. Book says no more than 50% water mixture.

We get 90 temps in the summer and below 0 in the winter. Classic Wisconsin weather.

Please advise and thanks, in advance, for your wisdom.

I just use a 50/50 mixture in mine. As it get's colder I'll replace with a much higher ratio of coolant to water, maybe 70/30.

If you don't want to do a coolant flush as winter approaches, maybe aim for a 60/40 ratio, should serve you reasonably well in all seasons.
