I recently noticed that after a drive, upon shutting the car off, somewhere under the hood the car just dumps all the coolant. the radiator looks unscathed as do all the hoses to and from. maybe the water pump?? and how much is this fix??
Thanks

You should remove the plastic skid plate from under the front and take a look under the range. If you look towards the front of the motor and see the coolant dripping from there chances are it's your water pump.

I'd imagine if you paid the dealer to do it, it'd be over $1000.

I bought a re-manufactured water pump from autozone for $47 dollars and fit it inside a couple of hours.

Fan has to come off, belts have to come off as well.

i have removed the skid plate and that is exactly where the leak is coming from. Thanks
No problem, feel free to hit me up with any questions you have... If you decide to repair it yourself, get a re-manufactured pump, then order the land rover gaskets as you need the higher quality gaskets for the seal.

FYI the reman pump actually looks like it has superior internals vs the land rover part.
