Hey, so I brought my 06 RRS SC to the dealership to get some warranty work done and found out I am nearing the end of my warranty. My vehicle is at 70 000km and I have 2 months before my warranty expires, they gave me a list of prices for extended warranty but I am still debating whether its even worth buying.
The price listing is the following :

100$ deductible
36 Months, 120 000km, $6706.00
36 Months, 140 000km, $8555.00
36 Months, 160 000km, $10062.00
48 Months, 120 000km, $7825.00
48 Months, 140 000km, $11522.00
48 Months, 160 000km, $15147.00

I drive about 25 000km a year and just recently had a few problems with the car that the dealership warranty covered. I had a knocking noise in the steering wheel, and was told that they were replacing an anti roll bar actuator. My check engine light came on, apparently the tail light bulb was not the proper one and it somehow effected the cars CPU? in all this kind of work would have costed $4000.... so I kind of what to prepare myself if there is more problems to come.

I would recommend purchasing the extended warranty...it'll pay for itself. Make sure you check for how long the warranty goes, sometimes the clock starts ticking when the car is placed in service. You can also check for aftermarket extended warranties. There have been some posts on here about them.
Good luck.
