Hi,

I'm in the middle of removing 4HP22 box to replace it with a 4HP24.
When disconnecting wiring all went smooth except C561, the circular connector coming out of the transmission, just above the shift cable connector/ switch.
Tried rotating,pressing etc, no luck.
A quick reply appreciated as I'm stuck at this point.

This is the connector and it's just above XYZ Switch.

It's been few years since I did my transmission service so memory is pretty suspect, but here's my take below:

If you're talking about the round connector coming out from the solenoid assembly to transmission, I don't think you need to remove that to get the transmission out. Unless, of course, you want to split solenoid assembly from the transmission first.

Maybe somebody else can chime in to confirm this.

Got to disconnect it. It's part the transmission/transfer box wiring loom.
