I'm putting in a RPI amp/coil/dizzy as replacement for the Lucas setup but want to keep the Lucas as a backup in case of issues (which I've read about). The RPI amp came with a 2 conductor lead wire that is easily 20" shorter than the original and as I want to mount the amp next to the coil on the front wall, I need a wire essentially as long as the original (about 44"). I see the cable I removed from the new amp has blue/red lead like the original lucas (and braided shield screen as well). so I need this type of wire not only to mod the new amp but want to replace the wire on the old as well as it seems very suspect. would guess its 16-18 awg but not sure if the jacket is an automotive grade for heat or not (assume it is)

So, does anyone know of the type of wire this is and where i might get it?
