Hi guys, sorry if its a common question, I do remember seeing a thread on here about it a while ago but I can't find it anymore.

Anyway, when i'm cruising above ~50kph (happens occasionally below this, but not so noticeable) and lift off the throttle, there is quite a severe clunk/thump right throughout the car. It doesn't happen all the time, usually only when I lift off very quickly, but occasionally even when I back off the throttle very slowly. However it will only happen if I lift completely off the throttle.
My first guess was that its related to the torque converter lock-up clutch, but i'm not sure if there is an easy way to check this

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

As an easy starter, check the propshafs (UJs and sliders), transfercase flanges and diffpinions for play.
