Gents,

I recently got this phone kit.
Got also a Parrot adapter for Range Rover.
Took the radio out to discover the parrot adapter won't work with it. It may have been developped for the Alpine radio.

A good read of the bulletin board informed me that because the type of amps RR use, i need to wire my phone kit to an additionnal speaker dedicated. Good point, i have one from a very old phone kit install already hidden behind the center console.

I searched the Rave and the Bulletin board but couldn't find the information i need like :

-Mute imput
-Clarion plugs pin-out

Thanks

Florent

I fitted a MKi9100 to a 2002 HSE Alpine unit.

Now, ecoute:

* The output from the Parrot is too high for the head unit.

* I had to fit an adaptor and use the CD input - it worked quite well but with a little lost sound quality, I think.

* and, yes, a small speaker which only works to hear phone callers.

I can't remember exactly how it all worked, but I wasn't really happy with it.

HTH a bit!
