Changing Bulb and now some interior lights & heated/cooled seat wont work

Hi all,

I have an 07 hse. I was changing the bulb in the truck to an newer led bulb(already had one in there). Now the trunk light, the two lights on the tailgate, all the map lights, and heated/cooled seats wont work. Also, getting a suspension fault on the message display and I am not sure if I caused the message while trying to change the fuse. Any suggestions or anyone have an issue like this? Thanks.

Did you check fuses?
Search here because I recall a discussion on a relay being needed to prevent these issues when using the lower powered LEDs to prevent the car from thinking there's no bulb there.

I have LED's in my 06 and have not noticed any issues.

I put LEDs all around (with the exception of the exterior mirror puddle lights -- that wouldn't work) and no issues at all.

Thanks guys for the responses. I did try checking all the fuses for the most part. Good news is the next day I fired up the range again and everything was gone. It fixed itself lol!

JerrytheK- even your tail/brake,signal, marker lights are all LED? Been thinking of going all LED on the exterior but I have been reading about the bulb out error on the forum.

You can use navcoder to disable bulb checking if you want to run LED's.

Sorry, I wasn't clear on where I used LEDs.

Just the interior lights, not tails, brake, signal nor marker lights.
