I have seen new or like-new steering wheels for LR3/RRS selling on eBay for 200 bucks or less before, which may not be much more than getting the leather on yours fixed/replaced. Switching the wheel should be relatively easy and quick for a shop or experienced DIYer to do, although you would need a suitable tool to release the tabs that hold the airbag in place. Change Steering Wheel?
After my wife would sun-goo up the kids all summer she would simply drive off, and the residual sun lotion on her hands quickly has deteriorated the steering wheel leather.
I have seen some nice wood wheels, so how hard is it to replace, how much, maybe just how much to repair the wrap? Anybody do this?
