Hi

In rave it's explained how to, but it's stated only texaco 7045e oil.

Does anyone know an oil substitute for that oil, or isn'¨t there any other oil that can be used?

I am not sure what you have available over there, but Fuchs has a BMW equivalent for the 7045. You might try a couple of BMW forums to see what they suggest.

hi and thanks for your reply.

Have searched the bimmerforum, but I think there is some various answears about the oil. Some say you can use any dexron III, and some says you have to only use the texaco 7045e oil.

Morris Lubricants spec sheet suggests the first stop for that gearbox should be the Dealership. If you think about it, if they can't (or won't) blend an oil for it, then there is probably a very good reason why.

If you have access to MicroCat, check for a part number for a bulk buy, i.e. 5lts or 25ltrs. You may be lucky and get it at a reasonable price.
