Hi
This is my first post as a newbie owner
The problem I have is that the volume when playing CD on my standard HK system is very quiet even up to maximum, but the volume from the radio is what you would expect, I haven't tried the tape deck as I got rid of my cassette tapes years ago.
Any ideas please
Phil

Hmmm, I would run a cleaner through the cd changer, also unplug all connections and clean, what year is your range, I have a few disc changers floating around, there's 2 models used, if you let me know might be able to send you one down to check,,

It's ok mate I will have a good look at what's what with it and then I'll let you know how I'm getting on.
Thanks very much for the offer though

Sorry for breaking in Chris, what are those partnumbers?
I've got the 2000 4.6 (YA vin) with the separate door amps and looking for a cd changer (mine was nicked).
Tony.

XQE100240 is the part number for the later CD changer used in the Alpine sound systems (XA on)

PRC9033 is the earlier changer used on the Clarion systems up to '99MY
