Hi
I know this topic of CD multichangers has been covered a lot, but need some advice still .
So my CD Changer 'Clarion' type sits in the glove box, it loads discs, recognizes them and I hear them spinning but refuses to play.
I have tried the little tap in the middle trick but not joy for me. Today I removed the glove box to get to the changer and have removed it on the bench, I stripped it down and checked what I could, cleaned the lens and re-assembled but still the same, I also cleaned the laser connector a the back just in case.
So it would look like I need to buy another CD changer, my question is do I need to but the exact same model? mine is part number XQE500202, it has Land Rover on the label and Clarion on the front of the changer. Is there a better optio nperhaps on eBay to get an Aux in adapter?
