Hi!

I've got a 97' P38 with a 2.5 DSE motor. In the past the car have used a bit of coolant. Today I've got a new problem: the car starts, but stops when idling.

Could a broken head gasket may be the cause? Any other causes?

I suppose it could be a the head gasket, but I doubt it... might suspect your fuel pump first. I don't know a whole lot about diesels, hopefully someone with a better answer will chime in.
