I find your post quite lacking; not just the typo's but lack of specifics.....
My 2010 RRS HSE is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I have had zero issues in 3,600 miles. What's not to love? :p
I didn't know this was a spelling contest. People come from all over the world so let's get off grammar and spelling mistakes. PRSC has had substantial QC issues and has provided detailed photos and dealer feedback - which is much appreciated on this forum. I wish Land Rover was as focused on QC as you are on TYPOS.

Okay, (1) for; (1) against; (1) neither way; I suppose that puts the score at (0).

Was thinking it would be nice if we could get other reviews (not that I do not like facts and opinions) in this thread or possibly sticky a post that is inclusive of all reviews. It would be useful to newbies and moderators. Reviews about the quality and lack-there-of of RRS could go in there as well.

I saw a couple of other reviews from various posts from a couple of other magazines. In order to kick this off I will post the links here as well.

Let's call it the "ULTIMATE RRS REVIEW THREAD" OR "ULTIMATE RRS RANTS & RAVES THREAD" Personally I like the former rather than the latter.

Automobilemag:

Car Magazine UK (Article is okay RRS receive (4) stars/not so positive discussion):

Car and Driver:

Left and Left News (Article (glowing "must have"/discussion about reliabilit/GM)
http://www.leftlanenews.com/range-rover-sport-first-drive-review.html

In the future, I will separate the individual reviews from the professional ones.

Ha Ha I also didnt kow this was a grammer contest. Most of the time my write ups are done from my iphone so its something I done pay too much attention to.

Anyways my write ups are all true. Again this is just my opinion! Each person has their own,. This is my second Range Rover Sport and my first never gave me any trouble in the past but the 2010 has given me trouble.

My specifics include photos and a brief write up. I find that enough for those who can see and read.

Ohhh - so you post a reply with no specifics and tell a potential buyer to NOT BUY and I am supposed to search your posts to find out where you are coming from. I'll remember that in the future.....

I agree - their quality would be better for sure.....
Ok, back on topic…

I thought the initial link was very good, particularly the comment about the 4.2SC Supercharger whine sounding like Mad Max – I wish I had thought of that 4 years ago rather than spend the whole time bemoaning the fact that it sounded rather effeminate. On refletcion it did sound like Mad Max, and now I like it much more in retrospect than I did at the time.

Overall personal perspective:
’06 SC – bulletproof, brilliant in every way, $40 to remove the resonator best $$/mod value anywhere.
’10 SC – not quite so bulletproof but better in every way than the ’06, apart for the resonator removal causing cannon fire and scaring the neighbours.

Sorry Raab...that would be "We" Brits, as in nominative plural, the subject of the sentence, but you're right on target with the grammar.

Oh the irony!!!

Effeminate: (of a man or boy) having traits, tastes, habits, etc., traditionally considered feminine, as softness or delicacy.

^^^Had to look that one up.

From what I've read the 2010 does not have the Mad Max trait.

I see that you removed your resonator?! Was that to make it sound louder? best $$/mod value; how so?
Never buy the first year of a new model/major update, odds are you will have more problems, especially if the British are involved. The Brits design beautiful things(look at Hope bicycle brakes vs. Avid), but honestly somebody else should be screwing the stuff together. Now that the Indians are in charge and colonial history has been reversed, it looks like QC has slipped on the '10's from the '06's. If the '11's are not any better, we'll know the Indians are not on top of things.
I agree. At this point I see the 06'-09' better than 10'. We will have to see the 11' but at this point I think I will not be purchasing any more LR in the near future because of QC!

The way I see it the ball was dropped at least 3 times by LR on your car w the door misalignment. The factory, the import inspection, and the dealer. All had an opportunity to correct that before you had to deal with it.
True, When you buy a car the Factory has to check every detail on a car like this, Then the delear has to also make sure before delivery to check that everything is in order as well before handing the carover to me.

After noticing the defect I take it to the delear so they can fix it but they notify me that it has to be a body shop work on it. At this point is where are the problems begin and this is when I decide that they should take it back as a manufactures defect.
Seriously … have you ever deal with a car dealer before?

Any quality issues SHOULD be picked up by the manufacturer. Once it arrives at the dealer, his only motivation is to get the car off the lot as fast as possible. No dealer is going to attempt to repair any pre-existing condition out of his own pocket. They get you in to sign the paperwork asap hoping you will not notice or by the time you do, it becomes a warranty issue that is billable. If it can’t be fixed, not the dealers’ problem … it’s the buyers.

I’m not saying this is right or fair … just the way it is.

Quite correct, it’s a very different sound in the ‘10. Nothing at all until 3000rpm and then a “knocking” noise, which has the overall effect of making the engine note deeper. Cuts in and out very sharply. it's actually not great, IMHO.

In the ’06 I was trying to drown out the feminine SC noise, and removing the resonator had exactly the desired effect. Much deeper sound, not intrusive under cruising load but very satisfying under power, and much cheaper than an aftermarket exhaust. It’s a 30 minute job and is easily reversed if you don’t like it – I recommend trying it!

The random deep throated bang/pop on the overrun in sportshift is laugh out loud funny. Unfortunately not so in ’10, where removing the resonator just caused very loud, and quite high pitched, backfires even at 5mph.

Thanks for catching that. Been living in The Colonies for too long.
